Research Plan

First class research will be carried out to address a number of inter-related problem areas unique to our urban environment. The problem areas are all related to urban water management for the sustainable development of Hong Kong; they are problems that require urgent integrated inter-disciplinary research. They relate to coastal eutrophication, urban water and wastewater infrastructure, and water quality control of the East River.
