AoE Governance Structure

The administration, internal coordination and external liason of the AoE activities will be executed by a full time Centre Manager and a secretary. The management and fund allocation of the AoE will be overseen by a small Executive Committee of Management (Convenor and 4 members representing different research themes: JHW Lee, IJ Hodgkiss, HHP Fang, CM Che, H Tong). The scientific activities will benefit from the advice of an independent Advisory Board consisting of the following members:

The Advisory Board members are all highly respectable academics or industrialists, and their expertise covers the entire spectrum of water activities in research and industry. The main role of the Advisory Board is to advise on research and development plans of the Centre. All the proposed Advisory Board members have established collaborative links with the AoE members, and have agreed to serve should the AoE application be successful.
